El COITT reconoce a los ingenieros técnicos de telecomunicación por sus 50 años en la profesión

 El colegio dedica un homenaje a los profesionales de las promociones de 1970, 1971 y 1972, por su trayectoria y dedicación.

El Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros Técnicos de Telecomunicación (COITT) homenajeó a aquellos ingenieros técnicos de telecomunicación que cumplieron sus bodas de oro (50 años) en la profesión en el año 2022, así como también a las dos promociones anteriores, ya que esta celebración se pospuso por motivo de la pandemia. La cita reunió a colegiados egresados en 1970, 1971 y 1972, con el propósito de reconocer y poner en valor el trabajo y dedicación de estos profesionales.

En primer lugar, los asistentes visitaron la sede del colegio, acompañados de representantes de la Junta Directiva de COITT/AEGITT, para conocer las nuevas instalaciones y servicios a disposición de los colegiados. Un recorrido durante el cual mostraron su agrado y satisfacción tras la reciente renovación integral del espacio.

El acto contó con la asistencia por parte de COITT, del decano, Mario Cortés; el vicedecano, Jorge de la Torre; el vicesecretario, Epifanio Martín; y los vocales Eladio Gutiérrez y Enrique Carrascal. Así como también asistieron, el secretario técnico, Luis Miguel Chapinal; la responsable de Relaciones Institucionales, Susana Escobedo; y el decano de COETTGA, José Manuel Martínez Pérez. Por parte de la AEGITT, se contó con la participación del pdte. de la AEGITT, José Antonio López Olmedo, y el vicepresidente, Roberto Encinas.

La jornada, eminentemente familiar y de convivencia entre profesionales, continuó con un almuerzo entre compañeros. Durante el acto, se realizó un emotivo recuerdo a los que ya no están, y no faltaron las experiencias comunes, vivencias y anécdotas, así como la entrega de diplomas.

En el turno de intervenciones el colegiado Tomás Llorente, al frente del Club de Excelencia del COITT, anunció que esta iniciativa reactivará su actividad en los próximos meses. En representación de los homenajeados, agradeció al colegio la organización de este reencuentro entre profesionales, el colegiado Fernando García Manso. “El paro no existe actualmente en nuestra profesión, pero fuimos muy afortunados por las condiciones del momento que nosotros vivimos. Por ello merece la pena ayudar a las generaciones que vienen. En definitiva, dar lo que hemos recibido”.  

Por último, Mario Cortés, decano del COITT, cerró la jornada destacando “la contribución de los ingenieros técnicos de telecomunicación a la profesión, como motor de cambio y avance hacia una sociedad cada vez más digitalizada. Y  su aportación, de conocimiento y esfuerzo, en la búsqueda de soluciones para la mejora de la calidad de vida de las personas con ayuda de la tecnología”.
