Santander, Microsoft y Oxentia Foundation lanzan un reto de inteligencia artificial para emprendedores de 11 países

Los seis proyectos ganadores recibirán 120.000 euros en total en premios, acceso a Santander X 100, la comunidad global de proyectos emprendedores más destacados del banco, y mentoría por parte de Microsoft.

Banco Santander y Microsoft se unen a Oxentia Foundation en un nuevo reto global para emprendedores de 11 países, que busca soluciones innovadoras en el ámbito de la inteligencia artificial que generen un impacto positivo y ayuden a la sociedad a hacer frente a los retos que tiene por delante.

Santander X Global Challenge | The AI Revolution está dirigido a startups y scaleups de Alemania, Argentina, Brasil, Chile, EEUU, España, México, Portugal, Polonia, Reino Unido y Uruguay, que podrán inscribirse en el reto hasta   el próximo 27 de abril.

Habrá seis proyectos ganadores, que recibirán 120.000 euros en premios: 30.000 euros para las tres startups vencedoras (10.000 euros cada una) y 90.000 euros para las tres mejores scaleups (30.000 euros para cada una). Adicionalmente, los equipos ganadores viajarán a Silicon Valley para asistir a la ceremonia de entrega de premios el 29 de junio.

Las empresas ganadoras tendrán acceso a Santander X 100, la exclusiva comunidad global de emprendimiento con los proyectos más destacados de Santander X, que les conecta con los recursos que necesitan para crecer: asesoramiento y formación, capital, clientes, talento y networking.

Además, recibirán mentoría exclusiva de expertos en inteligencia artificial por parte de Microsoft y la oportunidad de presentar sus proyectos a M12, el Venture Capital de la compañía.

    My husband and I are self-employed architects; we made most of our income from buying, renovating and selling houses in Florida. In 2005 we had our first child, followed immediately by Hurricane Wilma and the beginning of the downturn in the real estate market (at least in Miami). Lost income from clients who could no longer pay, plummeting real-estate values and a non-existent job market for architects left us with virtually no income for four years. We used our credit cards and savings, my 401k, sold our home at a huge loss, all with the idea that the market had to pick up soon and we would then be able to pay off our debts without filing for bankruptcy. We were terrified of bankruptcy because we depended on being able to get a mortgage to finance home purchases and renovations, our main source of income. In retrospect not filing was a mistake, the market never recovered in time for us and we accumulated a massive amount of credit card debt which we could not pay, somewhere around $50-60,000. Much of this has been charged off or we negotiated settlements; however, we have two judgements, Amex for $1136 and Chase for $8566, which I’m going to try and settle, and a Citibank account that was bought by Asset Acceptance, original balance of $16,166 now pumped up to $26,340.
